Funeral services for Annie Bell Peters will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 1 p.m. at St. Rest Baptist Church in Minden. Officiating will be the Rev. Sheldon J. Birdsong, pastor of New Zion Baptist Church, Childs Road, Minden. Family hour will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Miller Pioneer Funeral Home in Minden. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery following Saturday services, under the direction of Miller Pioneer Funeral Home.
Annie Bell was born Oct. 9, 1934 in Webster Parish and entered into rest May 19, 2011 in Shreveport.
Her husband, David V. Peters and two children, David, Jr. and Brendia preceded her in death. Her parents, Eph and Ardencia Robinson; three sisters; and two brothers also preceded her.
She is survived by her children, Lucille Peters, Sammie Peters, Patricia Peters, Jobbie Peters (Dejuan), Vernecia Peters and Markium Peters, all of Minden; one stepdaughter, Linda Dixon of St. Louis, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bessie Combs, Omeria Peters and Mattie Robinson, all of Minden; Laura Peters of Los Angeles, California; brothers-in-law, Bobby Carter of Minden and David Peters of Kansas City, Missouri; aunts, Elizabeth Noble and Essie Jenkins of Minden and Bertha Smith of Cotton Valley.Subscribe to Read!
