Attorney calls expert witness in Explo case

Two Explo Systems officials were in 26th Judicial District Court Friday where their attorneys called an expert witness in a motion to quash. Judge Michael Craig heard testimony concerning charges dealing with the illegal storage of millions of pounds of M6 propellant at Camp Minden.

Explo President David Fincher and Vice President David Smith are charged with unlawful storage of explosives, conspiracy to commit unlawful storage of explosives, reckless use of explosives, conspiracy to commit reckless use of explosives, failure to obtain magazine license, conspiracy to commit failure to obtain magazine license, failure to properly mark explosive material, conspiracy to commit failure to properly mark explosive material, failure to keep accurate inventory and conspiracy to commit failure to keep accurate inventory.
