Heflin’s DeMoss wins at Annual Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo

CHEYENNE, Wyo. --- Cody DeMoss was the most successful saddle bronc rider at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo for the third time in his career.

He won the title here in 2004, 2010 and this year earned $9,619 with a total score of 255 points on three bucking horses.

DeMoss said he had no thoughts entering Sunday's finals that he would walk away with first place because Wade Sundell, of Boxholm, Iowa, entered the finals with a seven-point lead over the next closest competitors. But Sundell failed to complete his ride in 8 seconds.
