AG checks complaint against Heflin

As if to parallel contested municipal limits in Heflin Mayor Judy Tillman's potential recall, attorney Robert Moore gave the village's mayor and board of aldermen a lesson in their own limits at the Attorney General's prompting.

In a May 2 letter, Assistant Attorney General Emalie A. Boyce said a complaint had been submitted alleging they had violated the Open Meetings Law (RS 42:11 et seq.).
