Louise Huckabee Putman

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Huckabee Putman, 93, will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Pickard officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.

Visitation will be held today (Thursday) from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Putman was born July 27, 1919 in Hope, Arkansas to Lucius E. and Lula McKee Huckabee and passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Taylor, Arkansas. She had been a resident of Springhill since 1958, was a member of Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Putman was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Mina P. Cannon and husband, Tim; son, Mike Putman and wife, Dianne, all of Springhill; son-in-law, Johnny Jenkins of Cotton Valley; 11 grandchildren, Cecil Reeves, Jr., James Dewayne Reeves, David Reeves, Stevie Joe Reeves, Carolyn Reeves Clayton, Todd Burton, Traci Weaver, Putt Putman, Jodi Shaw, Johnny Reed Jenkins and Nicole Thebeau; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Putman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kelsie L. Putman in 1996; daughters, Tony P. Reeves, Kelsie P. Jenkins; grandson, Chance Cannon; six brothers; and one sister.

Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Manuel, Mike Hanson, Fred O'Bier, Jr., Ricky Pace, Don Kottenbrook and Ricky Wentz.
