Traffic stop leads to chase

DIXIE INN — Officers from three law enforcement agencies spent most of the day and night Wednesday looking for a suspect who fled into woods along U.S. Hwy. 80 west of Dixie Inn after wrecking a stolen pickup truck just off Hatten Roberts Road.

About 9 p.m. a suspect was in custody, but it wasn't the same individual Louisiana State Police troopers, U.S. Marshals and Webster Parish deputies had been trying to locate.
