Trial set for Cotton Valley assistant fire chief

A former Cotton Valley assistant fire chief has retained new counsel for his defense and a trial date has been set in a case that has been ongoing since March 2012.

A spokesperson for the Bossier/Webster District Attorney's office said attorneys Sonny Huckaby and Verity Bell enrolled Monday to represent Hurley.
