Webster Fire District 7 expands fleet, purchases new equipment

DIXIE INN — Residents in a 72 square mile area around Dixie Inn can feel a little safer now that Webster Fire District 7 has put their bond money to good use.

Fire chief Brian Williams said the local fire district board has purchased two new fire trucks – an engine and a 4,000-gallon tanker truck – the first brand new vehicles the district has acquired since 1966.
