GRAND CANE — The Glenbrook basketball teams won another district game Tuesday night as they swept a pair at Central School in Grand Cane.
The Apaches won, 82-50, and the Lady Apaches took a 56-35 win.
"I thought we looked really good," Apache head coach Todd Spurlock said. "It was good to pick up another district win. This win moves us to 22-4 and 6-2 in district."
Jalen Patterson led the way with 30 points and Cade Spurlock added 23. Regan Edwards and Sam Marvin each scored nine points.
"We were able to score in transition, and got a lot of points there," Spurlock said. "We shot the ball well, and we had another game where a number of kids stepped up and played well. Now we have a big district game with Cenla at home on Friday. They're undefeated in district, so it will be a tough one."
The Lady Apaches played well in their 56-35 win.
"The girls looked solid tonight," Lady Apache coach Rendi Dillard said. "We are fighting as hard as we can to make it to the state playoffs, we need to finish strong, and we started in the right direction tonight."
Carsin Spurlock led the Lady Apaches with 15 points and Shelby Nicholas had 11. Macie Branch and Lauren Sims both added nine and Hannah Harris added six. Kennedy Ayers scored two.
