Queen crowned during sorority’s first annual Gala

The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Epsilon Rho Chapter, presented its First Annual Gala at 7 p.m. at the Minden Civic Center. This Gala was held as part of the Juneteenth Celebration.

The Former Queen is Miss Serenity Lewis. She is the daughter and grand daughter of Ms. Kimberly Lewis and Ms. Cassandra Bailey and Mr. Fulton Lewis.

The Reining Queen is Little Miss Amari Christina Knapp. Amari is the proud 8 year old daughter of Rev. & Mrs. T. Alexander Knapp.  She is a member of the Mt. Calm Missionary Baptist Church where she is an active member of the youth department and Angel Choir.
