Warriors fall to Rosepine

ROSEPINE—The Lakeside Warriors were knocked out of the LHSAA Class 2A playoffs despite a good outing on Friday in Rosepine.

The Warriors fell 3-1.The game was a pitching duel between Lakeside starter Austin Ashley and Rosepine's Jessie Fruge. Ashley went six innings scattering six hits and striking out five while allowing two earned runs. Fruge went seven innings with three hits and one earned run while striking out six.
