Pesses proud of Warriors’ effort

HOMER—After a 24-hour delay because of bad weather, the Lakeside Warriors were able to get down to business and take on the Grambling Kittens in the first game of the Homer Jamboree.

After falling behind 6-0, the Warriors came back to tie it up on a 98-yard run by Chris Lewis and ended the jamboree with a 6-6 tie.

Head coach Joey Pesses was impressed with his team's effort.
