BTF donates new weapons  in salvinia war

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) received a gift from Bistineau Task Force (BTF) on Monday of two "weapons" in the "war" against giant salvinia on Lake Bistineau.

A new airboat and utility terrain vehicle (UTV) for use on the lake were donated to LDWF at their Minden offices. Webster Parish Police Juror, BTF member and Trailblazer Resource Conservation and Development President Steve Ramsey presented them to LDWF Secretary Robert Barham during the ceremony.
