The Webster Extension Service is happy to announce that we have a new assistant county agent who will be working with Agriculture and Natural Resources and 4-H Livestock programs.
Lee Faulk, a native of Athens is married to Ramsay Magee Faulk, who is an occupational therapist with the Claiborne and Bienville School Systems. Lee has a degree in Ag. Business from La. Tech and has worked for the LSU AgCenter for four years. He is currently working in both Claiborne and Webster Parishes with ANR and 4-H.
Lee is experienced with livestock programs and was a 4-H member himself. He will be working out of the Webster parish office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be available to answer questions anytime.
He will be working with me with the Master Gardener program and the Piney Hills Master Gardeners.
If you or anyone you know is interested in their child participating in our 4-H livestock program, ask them to call our office as soon as possible to receive the correct information. The possession dates for this next school year are being announced at the 4-H club meetings and anyone planning to purchase an animal for the parish or state fair is required to meet those possession dates.
If you have any questions, give us a call. Our office is at 1202 Homer Road and the number is 371-1371. You can also access us at our website: www.lsuagcenter.com.
