A candlelight vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery by those who wish to honor the memory of Sgt. Joshua Abram Tomlinson of Dubberly. Tomlinson was killed in Afghanistan May 18, 2010 from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their convoy with a vehicle-borne explosive device. He was buried May 30, 2010.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the vigil, which, according to family, will be held rain or shine. The public is asked to bring their own candles.
