Despite Sunday's windy and wet weather, the second annual Fasching celebration had much to offer.

"There were a few things that came up as we were setting up this year," Minden Main Street Director Pattie Odom said. "But despite everything, this festival was a success."

A carnival, which was scheduled to be set up Friday evening, was canceled after carnival owner, Randy Johnson, passed away.
