Dedicated in life to his wife, Wylodine Hartley Pearson of 51 years, you very seldom seen one without the other. They were best friends for over half-a-century. Their love of people and travel was evident everywhere they went.
Born on the 21st of July 1935 in Mountville, Georgia, he entered the U. S. Air Force, retiring honorably after 21 years with the rank of Technical Sergeant, receiving an Air Force Commendation medal. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. While stationed in Japan, he pursued his first love of music, traveling to numerous U. S. military bases providing entertainment for the troops. After retirement, he continued in business as a building contractor and master cabinetmaker.
His musical talents and passion for sharing his country and gospel music led him to volunteer in a variety of the local establishments to include nursing homes, churches and most important to our veterans at the VA home in Bossier City. His diverse musical talents gave him the ability to share musical passions with others, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
