Local sportsmen display trophies

First Pentecostal Church of Minden celebrated its first annual trophy competition with an impressive collection of deer, elk, bear and fish mounts.

About 200 avid hunters and fishermen gathered to view over 50 beautiful game and fish works of art. Also on display was a collection of antique fishing lures and tackle assembled by John F. Wallace of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
