The Minden Crimson Tide football team will close out their spring practice with a Red/White inter-squad scrimmage.
The game will officially be called the Crimson Clash and will begin at 6 p.m. at W. W. Williams Field. Admission for the game is free.
Minden head coach Randy Peters said the Tide will be evenly split into two teams via a draft.
“We’ll take each position and draft the players,” he said. “The coaches for both teams will take turns picking first as we go down through the different positions until we get the teams filled out. It works pretty well and it’s a lot of fun.”
Peters has been pleased with what he’s seen from his team this spring.
“It’s been real good,” he said. “The kids have great attitudes and they’re working hard. Our numbers are there and our coaches are coaching, so it”s been good.”
