Harper has new head

A new face will welcome students at Harper Elementary when school opens for the 2012-2013 school year.

Janene Ashley was named Harper Elementary school's principal at the Webster Parish School Board meeting last night.

"Janene Ashley is a fantastic person," WPSB superintendant Steve Dozier said. "She is extremely friendly and competent. Everything she has done has been of the highest quality and she is of exceptional character."
