4-H Shooting Sports instructors receive training

4-H Shooting Sports instructors receive training

Fifty-one volunteers were trained as Level I 4-H Shooting Sports instructors in a 12-hour workshop held October 12 at the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries District One facility near Dixie Inn.

Hosted by Webster 4-H Shooting Sports program and coordinated by 4-H Agent Lisa Holmes, the training was an opportunity for volunteers to become certified in a specific discipline within the 4-H Outdoor Skills/Shooting Sports project. Instructors were trained in Archery, Coordinator, Pistol, Smallbore, Muzzleloading and Shotgun.
