Parish schools to start at 8:15

After many weeks of planning, a parish-wide school starting time of 8:15 a.m and a closing time of 3:30 have been released.

"This will be the first time all schools in the parish have had the same start and end times," interim superintendent Jackie Sharp said.

New bus routes will shuttle buses among schools in Minden and among schools in Sarepta, Shongaloo, Springhill and Cotton Valley due to the reconfiguration of schools in Webster Parish.
