This is the year for statewide elections in Louisiana, and so far, this promises to be the least exciting of those elections perhaps since John McKeithen's victory for his 2nd term.

In contrast, the election at the center of today's Echo is probably the most tumultuous of all the turbulent gubernatorial elections in the history of our state.
