Apaches win North State

Apaches win North State

The Glenbrook Apaches will advance to their third straight appearance in the MAIS AA State Championship Series after beating River Oaks in the North State Finals, 7-0, on Friday.
The Apaches were the State Champs two years ago and runners-up last year.

"I was real proud of the way we played," Glenbrook coach Jonathan Hardy said. "We had a really good performance defensively and on the mound. We had no errors and no walks."
Glenbrook scored all seven runs in the first two innings and held River Oaks scoreless behind the outstanding pitching of Logan Clark.
