FERRIDAY—The Lakeside Warriors' season came to an end Friday night with a 41-0 loss to the Ferriday Trojans. Both teams needed a win to keep alive their slim hopes for a Class 2A spot, and the Trojans might have solidified their spot, while the Warriors head into the off season.
"We just didn't play well at all," Lakeside head coach Terrence Quarles said. "We made some impact in some areas early in the game, but we couldn't get it going for us. Ferriday is a pretty good team and they have a lot of talent and playing them at their place is a tough thing to do. We wanted to give them a run for it, but we didn't play well."
