Schools Soon Out, Graduation Nears

We've arrived at spring. Though the weather is quite chilly as I write this week's column, by the time the words get to you, dear reader, the thermometer will have surely risen a few degrees. Or so that's what Big Joe Haynes on Channel 3 has told us.

And with spring comes green grass, the smell of grilling, warm weather garb and an eye toward the big break soon to greet school kids around the country. For some of those kids, spring means a little bit more this go around.
