The Lakeside and North Webster softball teams both took district wins on Thursday.
The Lakeside Lady Warriors hosted Jonesboro-Hodge and won big, 18-3. The Lady Knights from North Webster edged Calvary, 7-6.
The Lady Warriors wasted little time as they scored five runs in the bottom of both the first and second innings. They would add a run in the third, and then closed out the game with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth.
