Warriors, Lady Warriors sweep pair from Lake Providence

LAKE PROVIDENCE — The Lakeside basketball teams made the long trip to Lake Providence for a pair of district games Tuesday night, and came back with a pair of wins.

Both teams came away with 50-42 victories.

The Warriors started fast and then put away the Panthers late. The Warriors led 17-9 at the end of the first quarter, due much to leader T.J. Carpenter.
