Being told "no" was too much for a Minden man who reacted badly when his alleged advances toward a female were spurned.
Minden police arrested Neil Moore, 44, of the 400 block of South Street and charged him with aggravated battery, aggravated criminal damage to property, aggravated assault and simple criminal damage to property.
Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said officers Ryan Barnette, Chris Hammontree and Keith King responded to the disturbance on Sibley Road.
"A female victim told them Moore had come to her house while she was inside the residence and threatened her with a brick," Cropper said. "He had allegedly made sexual advances toward her and she had rejected him."
Cropper said Moore reportedly became angry and threw the brick through a screen door, striking the victim on the leg.
He was charged at the Minden Police Department and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
