A large sewer project is one catalyst behind a resolution adopted Tuesday by the Minden City Council that will procure Louisiana Community Development Block Grant funds.
"It's important for us to apply ahead of time for this grant money to ensure we get what we need when we need it," said Minden Mayor Bill Robertson. "There are other projects that will need funding, too, but the sewer program is probably the largest."
