It's official. Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits is bringing its own special style of southern cooking to town.
Larry Carbo, owner of the Alexandria-based Glamr Ventures, which holds the Popeye's franchise, said the grease should be hot at the 1060 Homer Road restaurant by the end of April.
"Popeye's has a new design – it looks basically the same as other Popeye's," Carbo said. "But it's a little fancier design with Internet and TVs and other modern-age material."
