In an effort to combat impaired driving in the Troop G area and ensure the safety of all motorists, Louisiana State Police Troop G troopers will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Bossier Parish today from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Thursday.
According to Troop G Public Information Officer Cordell Williams, checkpoints are designed to remove impaired drivers from the roads before they can injure themselves or others.
