Governor Bobby Jindal has appointed John T. Irving, PE to Louisiana's Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board, effective October 26.
Irving will serve a six-year term as the engineering practice classification representative from industry.
Irving earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1963 and obtained his Professional Engineering License in 1964.
