MONROE — The North Webster Knights boys and girls track teams participated in the first track meet in school history on Saturday, March 3.
The boys team finished first and the girls team finished second in the Super 1 Relays held on the campus of ULM in Monroe.
The Knights totaled 125 points in the first place finish while the Lady Knights team finished with 75 points in their second place effort.
First place finishers for the boys were: 4X200 relay team of Steven Abdelkader, Rickey Black, Reggie Lewis, and J.O. Smith, the 4X400 relay team of Rickey Black, J.O. Smith, Paten Allen and Kolby Cooper, Rickey Black in the long jump, J.O. Smith in the 200 M dash, Kolby Cooper in the 1600 meter run and Michael Morse in the 110 hurdles.
First place finishers for the girls were Macy Franklin in the 3200 and Claire Tyler in the pole vault.
The next action for the Knights teams will be on Thursday, March 8 in the Airline Viking Relays.
