I am so excited to be your new Springhill~North Webster Chamber of Commerce Manager.  Springhill is my home and I am so happy to promote our area businesses and to share with locals and tourists why I love this area.  To me our biggest asset is the friendly, caring people that live here!  Please feel free to call on me if I can assist you in any way.  I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Local man, John Corey Whaley, has published his frst book and is looking for community support.

Corey grew up in Springhill. He is a 2002 Springhill High School Graduate. He is the son of Wayne and Karen Whaley of Springhill.  He has a B.A. in English from Louisiana Tech University, as well as an M.A. in Secondary English Education. He currently teaches at a middle school in Shreveport. “Where Things Come Back” is his first novel.

The Springhill-North Webster Chamber of Commerce named North South Contractors, Inc. Business of the Month for May.
Edward Bankhead is the president of North South Contractors. His company has been providing lawn care service since 1981. North South Contractors has three full time employees and one part time employee. They pride themselves in doing an excellent job.
