Tolar - Martin engaged to marry


Kelly Marie Tolar, of Minden, and James Christopher Martin of Morrilton, Arkansas, are engaged to be married on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Minden.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tolar and Mrs. Linda Lindsey Oliver. She is the grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tolar of Natchitoches, Mr. and Mr. Willard Kaylor of Cotton Valley, and Mr. Tuby Goodwill and the late Mrs. Janis Goodwill of Minden.

The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Martin of Morrilton, Arkansas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. James Martin and Ms. Myra Martin also of Morrilton, and Mr. Henry Fowler and the late Mrs. Norma Fowler of Tichnor, Arkansas.

Kelly is a graduate of Cotton Valley High School. She attended Louisiana Tech University and graduated with a Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is a Registered Clinical Dietitian at John C. McClellan VA Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

James is a graduate of Morrilton High School. He attended Northwest Louisiana Technical College and received a degree in Industrial Instrumentation. He works as a Instrument Technician for BHP Billiton in Greenbrier, Arkansas.

After the wedding, the couple plans to reside in Greenbrier.
