Three accused of creating meth lab

SPRINGHILL — A Bossier Parish trio's trip to the pharmacy of a north Webster discount store took a detour earlier this week when narcotics investigators put a kink in what appeared to be plans to cook up some methamphetamine.

Springhill Chief of Police Will Lynd said agents with the North Webster Narcotic Task Force, a joint investigative unit with Lynd's department and the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office, received an alert Tuesday from a system which monitors overselling of ephedrine products.
