Johnnie Faye Morris Taylor

TAYLOR OBITJohnnie Faye was born March 16, 1957 in Arcadia to W. Harold and Dorothy Morris and passed away in Shreveport on April 3, 2013.

Visitation will be held today (Friday, April 5, 2013) at Owen's Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston, with family from 5 until 6 p.m. and friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Johnnie Faye Morris Taylor will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 also at Owen's Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating will be Dr. Wilton Wall. Burial will follow at Walnut Creek Cemetery in Simsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W. Harold and Dorothy Morris; niece, Michelle Dawn Johnson; and nephew, Nathan Nicholas Morris.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul Taylor; children, Jake Morris, Jacqueline Taylor, Sherry Herrington and husband, Earl all of Doyline and Christin Taylor of Shreveport; grandchildren, Isabelle Taylor, Brooke Shepard, Dalton Falcon, Timothy Herrington, Marena Burroughs and Hannah Herrington; great-grandchildren, Landon Burroughs and Aubrey Herrington; siblings, Shirley McDaniel and husband, Joe, David Morris, William Morris and wife, Camelia, Linda Bass and husband, Harry all of Simsboro, Connie Brazzel and husband, Larry, Kay Godwin and husband, James, both of Dubach, Mary Williams and husband, Marty of Bryceland, Ronnie Morris and wife, Samantha of Choudrant, Lula Skidmore and husband, Billy of Atlanta, Texas and Dottie Lee and husband, Charlie of Mountain View, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.

Food can be brought to Kiddie Palace, 260 Houston Street, Simsboro; Saturday April 6, 2013 starting at 10 a.m. Family will eat at noon.
