On May 24 Lake Bistineau State Park will be hosting another Dutch Oven cooking gathering. Dutch oven cooking involves the art of cooking exclusively with old-fashioned black iron pots. These cooks are very talented and can make a wide variety of foods using simple black pots.
During this program, the Bayou Pots Dutch Oven cooking group will provide cooking demonstrations and lessons for the public. For a small donation, the public will be invited to enjoy lunch with the group. This donation will be used by the group for various paper supplies.
