Minden High home opener tonight

Crimson Tide to host West Ouachita Chiefs at 7 p.m.

The Minden Crimson Tide will play their home opener tonight as they host the West Ouachita Chiefs at the Pit at W.W. Williams Stadium at 7 p.m.

The Tide is riding high, as they are coming off a 22-15 win over North DeSoto in their opening game one week ago.

Tide head coach Randy Peters has seen an extra step in his player’s steps this week at practice.


“I’ve been pleased with the way we’ve practiced this week,” he said. “The weather has been nice, so we haven’t had to beat the heat, but they kids have turned it up this week. The weather has a lot to do with it, but so does winning.”
