The FBI is warning holiday shoppers to be aware of cyber criminals who attempt to steal money and personal information from consumers who shop on-line.
Richard DesLauriers, special agent in charge of the FBI's Boston division, said shoppers should be cautious about bargain emails advertising one-day only promotions for recognized brands or websites, particularly on "Cyber Monday," the Monday after Thanksgiving when merchants offer online sales and promotions.
