Doris E. Allen

Funeral services for Doris E. Allen will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Antioch Baptist Church in Minden. Officiating will be the Rev. Keith Adams. Interment will follow at Stateline Cemetery in Bradley, Ark., under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

Doris was born April 2, 1939, in Shreveport and entered into rest April 6, 2014, in Minden.

Her husband, Jack Allen preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, David Thomas of Minden and Tommy Thomas of Ragley; daughters, Lois Cedars of Sibley and Karen Griffin of DeQuincy; sisters, Carolyn Weldon of Heflin and Janice Gould of Arkansas; brothers, Jack Wood of Castor, Marshall Wood of Mansfield and Johnny Wood of Springhill; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
