Resigned trooper resigned to fate

A Troop G state trooper has resigned his position but will not face criminal charges, according to Louisiana Department of Public Safety spokesperson Lt. Doug Cain.

Initially, Mark Keough was reportedly being investigated for using a state gas card to fuel his personal vehicle.

"Trooper Keough resigned in the course of an administrative investigation," Cain said. "Once that happened, the investigation came to an end."
