Lakeside gets walk-off win over Choudrant

SIBLEY — The Lakeside Warriors and Choudrant Aggies played a tight game Tuesday, with the score tied at 2-2 going into the bottom of the seventh.

But Jake Gray led off the Warriors' half of the inning with a home run, giving the Warriors the walk-off 3-2 win.

Lakeside took and early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning as Jake Gray doubled in Luke Griffith and Chris Brantley drove in Gray with a single.
Choudrant struck back with two runs in the top of the third to tie the game.

The game remained scoreless until the seventh and Jake Gray stepped to the plate. Gray lined an 0-2 pitch over the left field wall for the game winner.

For the game, Gray doubled and homered and drove in two runs and Cameron Gray added two doubles. Thomas Lambert doubled and Frank Chanler, Coulson White and Brantley all added singles.

Luke Griffith pitched an outstanding game to get the win for the Warriors. He scattered six hits over seven innings, allowing just two runs and striking out four.
