Graveside services for Raymond E. (Ray) Shaw will be held Friday July 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Community in Minden under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Floyd Stratton. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. today (Thursday July 21, 2011) at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Ray was born June 30, 1941 in Grove and entered into rest July 20, 2011 in Minden.
His wife, Linda Coker Shaw; parents Etelle and Bessie Shaw; and brother, David Shaw preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Michael Shaw and wife, Rhenda of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Rhonda Shaw Taylor of Minden; grandson, Trevor Taylor of Minden; and a number of nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or donor's choice.
