The hunt is under way for three suspected bandits accused of robbing a local restaurant Sunday night in the 6100 block of Line Avenue, Shreveport.
Just before 11 p.m., employees at the Superior Bar and Grill were walking to their cars after closing the business for the night.
It was reported to authorities that a trio of armed men appeared from behind one of the employees cars brandishing a handgun and knives.
According to witness accounts, the suspects forced the employees back inside the business at which time, each employee was allegedly robbed of their belongings.
At least one of the suspects reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of money for the businesses safe.
Following the robbery, all three suspects fled the business on foot. No one was injured during the encounter.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department's Robbery Unit arrived on scene at the crime, launching an immediate investigation.
Victims describe the suspects as three black males, all standing approximately five feet, ten inches to six feet tall. The suspect armed with the handgun had donned a camouflage mask his face and wore dark jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
The two additional suspects both were described as wearing dark clothing and armed with knives. Investigators are awaiting surveillance footage from the business which is expected to aid in the identification and apprehension of the suspects.
