West Scott Shehee

sheeheeBrother West Scott Shehee was born on April 10, 1961 to the late Floyd and Mattie Mae Theus Shehee. He departed this earthly life on Monday, Oct. 10, 2012 in Minden.

West accepted Christ at an early age. He joined Carter Chapel CME Church and later in life united with Carter Memorial Baptist Church, where he remained a member until death

West was employed as a limo driver while he resided in Houston, Texas. At the time of his death, he was the maintenance supervisor at the Mt. Calm Hamlet Apartment complex.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mattie Mae Shehee; five brothers, Billy, Ronnie Faye, F. B., James Edward and Emery; and four sisters-in-law, Annie, Florida B., Frankie and Nancy.

West leaves to cherish his precious memories three sons, Carlos (Chance), Marcus and Marcel; five grandchildren, Dequaya, Carlos, Jr., Kathy, Marcel, Jr. and Christian; three sisters, Vera and Mary of Shreveport and Tiny of Long Beach, California; six brothers, Floyd Shehee, Jr., Eddie (Linda), Johnny (Loretta), Roy King, Thomas (Debra) and Willie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing services for West Scott Shehee will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Carter Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Theus Cemetery.

Visitation will be held today (Friday, October 19) from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of Kennon's Mortuary with family hour from 7 until 8 p.m.
