A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13, at Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist Church, 16312 Hwy. 371, Minden for Donald Wayne Dupree, 65, of Minden.
Mr. Dupree entered into rest July 26, 2011 at Town & Country Health and Rehab of Minden, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Tallulah and a resident of Minden since 1990. He was a member of Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Dupree, two step-children, Joshua Shawn Richie of DeSoto Parish and Kimberly Rachelle Richie of Keithville; two sons, Richard Kevin Dupree of Shreveport and Rodney Scott Dupree of Minden; one daughter, Kimberly Danelle Longoria and husband, Bill of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Charles Dupree and wife, Shirley of Shreveport and Tommy Dupree and wife, Jeanie of Benton; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Willis-Knighton Cancer Institute and Willis-Knighton Heart Institute.
