Manhunt ends with capture

DIXIE INN — After eluding capture for more than 30 hours, a weary 18-year-old Andrew Bon Scott DeBerry was taken into custody without incident Thursday shortly after 5 p.m.

It ended only a short distance from where the search began just before 9 a.m. Wednesday. DeBerry was found by officers hiding inside a small camper trailer on property adjoining the heavily wooded area into which he had fled following a high-speed chase which began in Bossier Parish.
