The Guardrails of Life

On my way to work this morning, I came upon a one-vehicle accident invoking a pickup truck and a guardrail at an exit. Apparently. the truck had lost control and hit the guardrail at a serious rate of speed. The guardrail did its job, keeping the truck from plummeting down an embankment. While the driver seemed relatively unharmed, the truck didn't fare quite as well.

What I saw reminded me of a conversation I had just yesterday with my friend, Butch Bellah. He was telling me about a sermon he had heard at his church in Opelousas.
